Sir William Osler
Doctors record patient’s medical history without paying much attention to the patient. But we must never forget that the look on the patient’s face, the tremble in his hands, the falter in his speech, the dreams he has, the drawings he makes, are all potential signs (windows ) of what really troubles him.
Sir William Osler
RC Cabot
I know of a doctor who never forgets his stethoscope, blood pressure instrument, his percussion hammer when he starts on his rounds in the morning, yet not infrequently he is so absent – minded as to leave at home one and all important instrument – his brain!

Sir Robert Hutchison
There are no short cuts to physical diagnosis. It is learnt only by practice not a dull and dreary or monotonous practice but practice with all the five senses alert.
Sir Robert Hutchison
Sir William Osler

Sir William Osler
